SIARC Laurel VEC Examination Team
The Skenoh Island Amateur Radio Club Volunteer Examiner team conducts amateur radio license examinations through the Laurel Amateur Radio Club Volunteer Examiner Coordinator.
Examination sessions are held at the Ontario County Safety Training Facility in Canandaigua.

Examination Dates
Examination Requirements
- FCC Registration Number (FRN).
- Two forms of identification, including one photo ID.
- Current amateur radio license, if already licensed.
- A photocopy of your current amateur radio license.
- Any unexpired Certificates of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE).
- Pen or pencil.
- A non-programmable calculator, if desired.
Laurel VEC Testing
SIARC does not charge an examination fee for Laurel VEC amateur radio examinations.
The FCC may separately charge its required application fee for certain new license applications.
First-time applicants should obtain an FCC Registration Number before the examination session.

SIARC welcomes new amateur radio operators, experienced operators and anyone interested in amateur radio. You do not need to be a club member to attend a meeting or participate in a license examination.
